Us locals should have kept it clean. But it's never to late to fix it. I'm just saying I would gladly start a fundraiser and just see how many people care about the dam. And fix it and keep it cleaned up and I'm sure a lot of people would help. I wish there was a way we could Still save it, or just clean it up ourselves and maybe they will change their minds. Worth a shot to me. Wish Henry, and Trimble had the money to turn it into a walking bridge, and return it to gorgeousness. Lots of memories there. Unfortunately, the drunks always kept that area in rough shape. You could see the water falling over the dam. Now all you see is concrete. Wish they would have preserved the old bridge. There have been a couple of deaths in that area also, which i think is a shame.
