On Armory Place, south of Liberty, the little building is pointed out with a blue arrow. Notice that the parking structure was actually built AROUND it, nesting the little brick building into its grey concrete mass. |
Although threatened a time or two with demolition, the little building has survived all its challengers. Part of the LG&E infrastructure, it dates from the early 20th century and houses an array of valves. Its brick walls and clay roof have seen the time pass, slowly...
