George Rogers Clark Homesite Cabin, Clarksville, Indiana

Located along the Ohio River, this log cabin is a historical reconstruction.  It is located in the same area as the original George Rogers Clark homesite, the exact location having been lost to history.    Join us today as we check out this neat local attraction.

Rostrum at Cave Hill National Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky

Located in the "military section" of the Cave Hill National Cemetery, this structure is all the remains of a rostrum constructed in 1898.  It was once a speaking platform for the various remembrance events and ceremonies held in this section of the cemetery.  It has not seen use in a number of years, and though somewhat conserved, it has fallen into relic condition.

Abandoned Fourteen Mile Creek Bridges and INAAP - Charlestown, Indiana

The grounds of the abandoned Indiana Army Ammunition Plant are littered with all sorts of structures and debris.  Today, we explore some bridges on the north eastern side of the land, now overgrown but still quite interesting.

Lawrence Family Cemetery, University of Louisville, Kentucky

Louisville & Nashville Railroad Depot, Shelbyville, Kentucky

This is the former Louisville and Nashville Railroad Depot in Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Closed as a station in 1971, it was moved to its current location shortly afterwards.  It is now privately owned and well preserved.  We made this photo set on a recent trip through the area. 

Heigold House Facade, "The Point" in Louisville, Kentucky
